The Paint Horse: Coloured Horse!
The Paint horse is the coloured version of the quarter horse.

Indeed, these 2 breedes are very close to each other because until 1965, these 2 made just only one. The quarter horse and the Quarter Paint were distinguished only by their colour, plained or mixed.
In the USA, it was just since 1965 that the Paint horse was the subject of a full studbook which explain that a Paint horse must to come from 2 parents Paint or from a mother or father Paint Horse and the other mother or father QuarterHorse or British thoroughbred.
As the quarter horse, the Paint Horse is a small horse, around 1,55m. He has a short head, his neck is short and wide, he is broad shoulders and his rump is sturdy and strong. His colour is piebald with all the variants that this colour included; like: le tobiano, the overo, the sabino and the balzan.
The Paint Horse thanks to his agility, his strenght and his docility, is an excellent horse both for leisure and for the competition. The sole colour of each of these horses make them a real appreciated horse. Children love them!
